CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) will be issuing CTET 2014 Notification soon. CBSE conducts CTET Examination twice every year. CTET Paper 1 is conducted for Class 1 to Class 5 Teachers and CTET Paper 2 is conducted for Class 6 to Class 8 Teachers.
CTET Eligibility
Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
1.Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
2.Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
3.Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
4.Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
5.Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education
Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
1.Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
2.Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

3.Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
4.Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
5.Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
6.Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

CTET 2013 Notification Online Application
CTET 2013 (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) Notification has been released. Candidates can apply for CTET-JULY 2013 ‘ON-LINE’ through CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in w.e.f. 15.03.2013 to 16.04.2013.
The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form. After successful submission of data, Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation Page with Registration Number. The Confirmation page is sent to CBSE.

General/OBC for Only Paper – I or II, Rs500, Both Paper Rs800
SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person for Only Paper – I or II, Rs250, Both Paper Rs400

CTET Jan 2012 – Online Application Form: Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE) has announced Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) notification to eligible for Teacher vacancies at elementary schools located all over India. Candidates who qualifies intermediate / diploma in elementary education & graduation / B.ED are eligible for CTET. Eligible candidates have to apply through online form 01-11-2011 to 25-11-2011.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates who are appearing for CTET primary stage should have following qualifications:
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (OR) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. (OR) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
