Applications are invited to work as Special Officers in the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas located in all Districts (except Hyderabad and West Godavari), which are Residential Schools for girls in classes 6 – 10, on contractual basis for one year, from eligible female candidates who hold Post Graduate Degree and B.Ed. Teaching Experience is preferred
Applications should be submitted in the District Project Offices, Rajiv Vidya Mission (SSA).
Desirable:
a) Experience of working in a residential school.
b) Experience of handling administration/financial matters in a responsible capacity.
c) Proficiency in English.
d) Proficiency in Computers
3. REMUNERATION PER MONTH:Rs. 15,000/- (including all allowances)
4. SELECTION PROCEDURE:
a) All candidates fulfilling the essential qualifications will be required to appear for a written test. Candidates will be selected purely on the basis of merit in the written test and following the Rule of Reservation. Final selection will be published in the District by the District Project Office concerned and also on thewebsite http://rvm.ap.nic.in.
b) The Written testshall be of 3 hours duration and will consist of both Objective and Essay type Question. The test will be bilingual (English & Telugu). The Questions will be based on the following syllabus:
1. General Knowledge.
2. Reasoning Ability.
3. Quantitative Aptitude.
4. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Programme – Objectives, Interventions, Educational and Quality Indicators and Issues, Curriculum, Assessment and Evaluation Procedures.
5. Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation
6. Management, Roles and Responsibilities, Managerial and Leadership Skills, Roles and Responsiblities of teachers and other staff in educational institutions.
7. Child Rights with special focus on girls education.
8. Administrative and Financial Procedures/Rules.
The applications along with the copies of documents as prescribed must be submitted to the District Project Office of RVM (SSA) on/before 23.09.2013 using the prescribed proforma which may be downloaded from the official website www.rvm.ap.nic.in

RGUKT IIIT Notification 2012-2013
Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into the first year of its six year integrated programme 2012, leading to B.Tech. degree, at it's three RGUKT (IIITs) located at Basar, Nuzivid and R.K. Valley. This year's total intake into the first year is 3,000. The annual highly subsidized fee for each of the first two years for AP students is Rs.36,000/-.
ELIGIBILTY FOR ADMISSION
a) Regular students who passed SSC or its equivalent examination (10th class) conducted in 2012,
b) Age not more than 18 years as on 31.12.2012 (21 years in case of SC / ST candidates)
HOW TO APPLY
Applications are through online, by either of the following two modes.
(i) RGUKT website at htpp://admissions2012.rgukt.in
Candidates may apply online from RGUKT website by payment of Rs.150/- as registration fee through a crossed DD from preferably State Bank of Hyderabad / Andhra Bank or any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favor of The Registrar, RGUKT, and payable at Hyderabad.
(II) APOnline: Candidates can also apply through APOnline services by paying registration fee of Rs 150/- and service charges of Rs 15/- per application to the APOnline service centre.
In both cases, a print copy of the submitted application along with original DD/APOnline receipt, and copies of the certificates should be sent to The Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Vindya, C-4, IIIT Campus, Gachibowli, HYDERABAD – 500 032 by speed post / registered post immediately. The application shall not be considered if the printed form is not reached to RGUKT.
Note: A deprivation score, weightage of 4% in terms of percentage of marks to be added to the tenth class marks of an applicant from non-residential Government Schools including the Zillaparishad and Municipal Schools for the academic year 2012-13, for admission as per the Govt.
