G.O.Ms No.70 Dated 2.12.2013. Sanction of 234 New Model Schools in Phase 2. Disrict wise Model Schools. Model Schools in Andhra Pradesh.
School Education – Model Schools – Sanction of 234 Model Schools under Phase-II in the State under Centrally Sponsored Scheme “Scheme for Setting up of Model Schools at Block Level Bench Mark of Excellence” by GOI – Administrative approval – Accorded – Orders- issued

ORDER:
In the reference 1st read above, Government have accorded administrative approval for setting up 355 Model Schools in the Educationally Backward Blocks as Bench-mark of Excellence and prescribed the guidelines for establishment of Model Schools duly following the norms of GoI.
2. In the reference 2nd read above, under phase-II of the Scheme, the Government of India have sanctioned total 234 Model Schools for the State of Andhra Pradesh with the total project cost of Rs.904.23 crores (Rupees Nine Hundred and Four Crores and Twenty Three lakhs only). As per the norms of the scheme, sharing pattern of expenditure is 50:50 between the Government of India and the State Government.
3. The Commissioner & Director of School Education, A.P., Hyderabad vide reference 3rd read above has requested the State Government to accord administrative approval for setting up of 234 Model Schools under Phase-II scheme. The Commissioner & Director of School Education, A.P., Hyderabad has also requested to sanction total 4680 posts of teaching to be filled up by Direct Recruitment, and 3236
posts of Non-teaching to be recruited through outsourcing basis in the 234 Model Schools. He has further stated that as per the above sharing pattern, State Government have to bear Rs.452.12 crores (Rupees Four Hundred and Fifty Two Crores and Twelve Lakhs only) being the 50% of the total project cost of Rs.904.23 crores approved by GOI for the scheme.
4. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord administrative approval for setting up of 234 Model Schools in the Educationally Backward Blocks identified / approved by the GoI under Phase-II of the Scheme, with the total Project cost of Rs.904.23 crores. The State Government have also agreed to bear Rs.452.12 crores (Rupees Four Hundred and Fifty Two Crores and Twelve Lakhsonly)
towards 50% of the total Project Cost. The list of 234 Model Schools isappended to the G.O. as Annexure.
5. The Commissioner & Director of School Education, Hyderabad is informed that except the cost of Rs.452.12 crores sanctioned above, Government will not entertain any proposals for additional amounts of the scheme. Further the guidelines issued in G.O.Ms.No.42, SE(Prog.I) Department, dt. 12/7/2013 shall be followed in respect of execution of the Phase-II scheme approved above.

RMSA Model Schools Admissions into Classes 6th to 9th from 2012-2013

RMSA (APSES) is going to start Model schools in English Medium from classes VI to XII in the Educationally Backward Mandals to provide Quality Education. Admissions will be provided in Class VI to VIII and XI (with MPC/BPC/CEC/MEC groups) @80 students per class during 2012-13. In these institutions Education will be provided free of cost. In due course of time Hostel facility will be provided for deserving 100 Girl students in the campus. Registration forms will be made available in all the High Schools, Upper Primary and Primary Schools of the Mandal through Mandal Education Officer of designated Educationally Backward Mandal..
Filled in registration forms will be received upto 23-05-2012 at concerned M.E.O’s Office. Registrations also can be made on line .For details of places of Model schools and other information visit: http://apms.cgg.gov.in.

Rastriya Madyamika Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), Andhra Pradesh released the notification to fill all the  vacancies of Principals, TGT  & PGT  teachers in A.P. Model Schools. Total 7100 posts were created at the School Level and will be filled by this Direct Recruitment. Only TET qualified candidates eligible to TGT posts. TGT Trained Graduate teachers who have B.Ed & Graduation in concern subjects eligible to apply this post. PGTs must have Post Graduation and B.Ed in  concerns subjects.

Model Schools TGT and PGT Teachers Notification 2012

Rastriya Madyamika Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), Andhra Pradesh released the notification to fill all the  vacancies of Principals, TGT  & PGT  teachers in A.P. Model Schools. Applications are invited online through the prescribed APPLICATION to be made available on website http://apms.cgg.gov.in from 29-02-2012 to 16-03-2012 for recruitment of 7100 posts i.e. Principals (355), Post Graduate Teachers (4615) and Trained Graduate Teachers (2130) -2012 for Model Schools in the State through State Selection Committee.

How to Apply: The applicants have to pay a fee of Rs.250/- towards application processing for the recruitment test for each post through APONLINE or eseva between 28-02-2012 to 15-03-2012. The last date for payment of fee is 15.03.2012 and the last date for submission of application online is 16.03.2012. The step by step procedure for submission of application through online will be given on website http://apms.cgg.gov.in , www.dseap.gov.in and www.rmsaap.nic.in which will be made available from 28.02.2012.

AGE:  For PGTs & TGTs Applicants must have completed the minimum age of 18 years and must not have completed the maximum age of 39 years as on 1st July 2012. However, in case of BC/SC/ST, the maximum age limit is 44 years and in case of Physically Challenged 49 years. For Principal post applicants shall be between 35 and 50 years as on 1st July 2012.

Written Test: The written tests are scheduled on 10-05-2012 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for PGTs and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for TGTs. For Principal posts from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on 11.05.2012.
Qualifications: Post–wise qualifications are given in the Information Bulletin.

Note: Principal post – State wide. PGTs & TGTs – Zone wise. No. of vacancies are subject to change. Up to 33.3% of posts may be filled by deputation.
