Sub:- School Education – Re-open of the School on 13-06-2012 instead of 12-06-2012 in 12 district due to Bye elections – Orders – Issued – Regarding.

The attention of the under mentioned District Educational Officers is invited to the reference 1st read above and they are informed that the Government in G.O.Rt.No.2271 GAD Dept Dated: 17-5-2012 issued orders regarding declaration of holiday on 12-6-2012 in connection with the conduct of bye-Elections in 18 Assembly constituencies in 12 districts.

As the schools are scheduled to re-open on 12-6-2012, for the purpose of uniformity in the Districts having bye-Elections, the District Educational Officers of these 12 districts are instructed to re-open the schools on 13-6-2012 instead of 12-6-2012 in their districts duly obtaining the permission from District Collectors, and compensate the said holiday on some other day in order to ensure 220 working days.
