HOLIDAYS – Declaration of Optional Holiday on 14.11.2013 (Thursday) instead of 13.11.2013 (Wednesday) on account of 9th Moharram and General Holiday on 15.11.2013 (Friday) instead of 14.11.2013 (Thursday) on account of ‘Moharram’ – Notification – Issued

2) From the Chief Executive Officer, A.P.State Wakf Board, Hyderabad, Letter F.No.E1/16/2007-S, dt. 05.11.2013
ORDER:
In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued orders declaring 13.11.2013 (Wednesday) as Optional Holiday on the occasion of 9th Moharam, and 14.11.2013 (Thursday) as General Holiday on the occasion of ‘Moharram’. The Chief Executive Officer, A.P.State Wakf Board, Hyderabad, in his letter 2nd read above, has requested to declare the Optional Holiday on 14.11.2013 (Thursday) instead of 13.11.2013 (Wednesday) on account of 9th Moharam & General Holiday on 15.11.2013 (Friday), instead of 14.11.2013 (Thursday), on account of ‘Moharram’, as per the moon sight.
2) The Government, after careful consideration of the matter, decided to change the Optional Holiday from 13.11.2013 (Wednesday) to 14.11.2013 (Thursday) on account of 9th Moharam and General Holiday from 14.11.2013 (Thursday), to 15.11.2013 (Friday), on the occasion of ‘Moharram’. Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh:
NOTIFICATION

In partial modification of the orders issued, notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays in G.O.Rt.No.5363, G.A.(Poll.A) Dept., dt.22.11.2012, Government hereby declare that the Optional Holiday on the occasion of 9th Moharam shall now be observed on 14.11.2013 (Thursday) instead of 13.11.2013 (Wednesday) and that the General Holiday on the occasion of ‘Moharram’ shall now be observed on 15.11.2013 (Friday), instead of 14.11.2013 (Thursday), which were declared earlier.
