Shree Panchami: 4th Febraury Birthday of Dr B.R.Ambedkar: 14th April Bengali New Year's Day: 15th April Good Friday: 18th April May Day: 1st May Birthday of Rabindra Nath Tagore: 9th May ID-UI-Fitar: 29th July Independence Day: 15th August Mahalaya: 23rd September Durgapuja Saptami: 1st October Astami & Birthday of Ghandhiji: 2nd October Nabami & Dasami: 3rd October ID-Ud-Joha: 6th October Lakshmipuja: 7th October Kali Puja: 23rd October Muharram: 4th November Birthday of Gurunanak & Parswanath's Rathajatra: 6th November Christmas Day: 25th December |
(1) Sundays are holidays under the Negotiable Instrument Act.
{2} In the Year 2014, the following festivals/occasions fall on Sundays which are Public Holidays
under N.I.Act. and hence have not been included in the list of holidays:
(i) Birthday of Swami Vivekananda: 12th January
{ii}Republic Day: 26th January
(iii) Doljatra: 16th March
