ORDER: In pursuance of the orders issued in the G.O 2nd read above, certain Teachers Associations have represented to the Governmentto enhance the rates of TA/DA payable to the staff deployed on Training Classes/Polling/Counting Duties during 4th Ordinary Elections to Panchayat Raj Institutions 2013 as per the provisions of G.O 1st read above. 2. After careful examination of the matter Government hereby issue the following Amendment to G.O.Rt.No.1077 PR&RD (E&R) Dept., dt.01.07.2013. Amendment 3. The rates of TA/DA mentioned in the table in para 1 of the G.O shall be substituted with the following: Presiding Officers/Counting Supervisors (if they are Grade.I drawing pay scale of Rs.25,600 – 50,560/-): Rs.300/- Polling Officers/Counting assistants (if they are Grade.II drawing pay scale of Rs.13,660 – 38,570/-): Rs.200/- Grade.III (rest of the employees): Rs.150/- 4. The Secretary State Election Commission shall take necessary action accordingly. 5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (TA) Department, vide UO.No.19948-A/109/TA/2013, dt.19.07.2013.

ORDER:

The State Election Commissioner has issued notification to hold 4th Ordinary Elections to the office of Sarpanch and Ward Members of Gram Panchayats 2013 in Phased manner on 23.07.2013, 27.07.2013 and 31.07.2013 in the State. 2. In order to enable the employees of the State Government, Local Bodies and other Government Institutions to exercise their franchise in the said elections Government authorize all the District Collectors (except District Collector, Hyderabad) to declare a local holiday on the day of poll on 23.07.2013, 27.07.2013 and 31.07.2013 for all the Government Offices, Local Bodies and Government Institutions situated in the areas of poll where elections to the office of Sarpanch and Ward members of Gram Panchayats will take place. 3. The Government further direct that the Central Government employees who are bonafide voters and desire to exercise their franchise be permitted to avail the facility subject to the normal exigencies of service either by way of coming late to office or by being allowed to leave officer early or a short absence on that polling day. 4. All the District Collectors in the State (except Hyderabad district) are requested to take necessary action and send copies of the orders issued by them to the State Election Commissioner, Buddha Bhavan, Secunderabad, Commissioner, Panchayat Raj and Rural employment and the Government for information

PR&RD Department - 4th Ordinary Elections to Panchayat Raj Institutions-Fixing the rates of TA/DA/remuneration payable to the polling personnel drafted for training classes polling duty and counting duty - Orders-Issued.

ORDER: In the circumstances stated in the reference 2nd read above and keeping in view the orders issued in the reference 1st read above, Government after careful examination, hereby issue orders fixing the following rates of remuneration payable to the staff deployed on training classes/polling/counting duties during 4th Ordinary elections to Panchayat Raj Institutions,2013 and also issue the following orders.

*Presiding officers/Counting supervisors:- Rs.250/- per day or part there of *Polling officers/Counting assistants:- Rs.175/- per day or part thereof *Class IV:- Rs.100/- per day or part thereof 2. Besides the above remuneration lunch shall be provided only on polling day and counting day at the rate of Rs.100/- per head per day in case of difficulty in providing packed lunch. 3.  In respect of Zonal Officers, Route Officers, Sectoral Officers, expenditure monitoring committees, Model Code of conduct monitoring staff shall be paid one time remuneration at a lump sum rate of Rs.800/- per head one time only.

4.  In regard to the staff being drafted randomly from other constituencies covering Central Government / State Government/ Banks/ Insurance employees etc., specific instructions have been issued vide G.O.Ms.No.543 GA(Elec.C)Dept., dated 9.12.2005 shall be followed.
5.  The Secretary State Election Commission shall take necessary action accordingly.
6.  This order issues with the concurrence of GA(Elec.C)Dept., vide their U.O.No.1673/Elec.C/A1/2013-1 Dated 29.6.2013.
