Public Holiday on 30th July 2015 has been declared over Abdul Kalam's demise by the TN Govt. Government of Tamil Nadu announced Holiday on 30th July 2015 as a mark of respect for late former president Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam. Holiday will be observed in Tamilnadu on the 30.07.2015 for Schools, Colleges, Educational Institutions, Govt Offices. It would be holiday for all educational institutions, government and private establishments on Thursday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 by the Public Protocol I Department, dated 28.07.2015 wide G.O Ms.No.1005

Government of India has announced a seven-day state mourning in honor of former President APJ Abdul Kalam, however there will be NO holiday during these 7 days. “As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, seven days of state mourning will be observed throughout India from 27th July 2015 to 2nd August 2015 both days inclusive” an official statement said. Dr.Kalam’s funeral will be scheduled on 30.7.2015 in Rameshwaram, Tamilnadu, where he was born in the year 1931. ALLOWANCES  –  Dearness  Allowance  –  Enhanced  Rate  of  Dearness Allowance from 1st January 2015 – Orders – Issued.

1.  G.O.Ms.No.245,  Finance  (Allowances)  Department,  dated 10th October 2014.
2.   From  the  Government  of  India,  Ministry  of  Finance, Department  of  Expenditure,  New  Delhi,  Office Memorandum  No.1/2/2015-E-II  (B),  dated  10th April, 2015.

ORDER:
In  the  Government  Order  first  read  above,  orders  were  issued sanctioning  revised  rate  of  Dearness  Allowance  to  State  Government employees as detailed below:

Date from which payable: 1st July 2014
Rate of Dearness Allowance (per month): 107 per cent of Pay plus Grade Pay

2.    The  Government  of  India,  in  its  Office  Memorandum  second read above, has now enhanced the Dearness Allowance to its employees from 107% to 113% with effect from 1st January, 2015.

3.   Following  the  orders  issued  by  the  Government  of  India,  the Government  sanction  the  revised  rate  of  Dearness  Allowance  to  the State Government employees as indicated below

Date from which payable: 1st January, 2015
Rate of Dearness Allowance (per month):  113 per cent of Pay plus Grade Pay

4.    The  Government  also  direct  that  the  above  increase  in Dearness Allowance shall be paid in cash with effect from 01.01.2015. 5.  The  arrears  of  Dearness  Allowance  for  the  months  of January,  February  and  March  2015  shall  be  disbursed  in  cash immediately.   While  working  out  the  revised  Dearness  Allowance, fraction  of  a  rupee  shall  be  rounded  off  to  next  higher  rupee  if  such fraction is 50 paise and above and shall be ignored if it is less than  50 paise. 6.   The  Government  also  direct  that  the  revised  Dearness Allowance sanctioned above, shall be admissible to full time employees who  are  at  present  getting  Dearness  Allowance  and  paid  from contingencies  at  fixed  monthly  rates.   The  revised  rates  of  Dearness Allowance sanctioned in this order shall not be admissible to part time employees

7.   The  revised  Dearness  Allowance  sanctioned  in  this  order shall also apply to the teaching and non-teaching staff working in aided educational  institutions,  employees  under  local  bodies,  employees governed  by  the  University  Grants  Commission/All  India  Council  for Technical  Education  scales  of  pay,  the  Teachers/Physical Directors/Librarians  in  Government  and  Aided  Polytechnics  and Special  Diploma  Institutions,  Village  Assistants  in  Revenue Department,  Noon  Meal  Organisers,  Child  Welfare  Organisers, Anganwadi  Workers,  Cooks,  Helpers,   Panchayat  Secretaries/Clerks  in Village  Panchayat  under  Rural  Development  and  Panchayat  Raj
Department and Sanitary Workers drawing special time scale of pay

8.   The  expenditure  shall  be  debited  to  the  detailed  head  of account `03. Dearness Allowance' under the relevant minor, sub-major and major heads of account.

9.   The  Treasury  Officers  /  Pay  and  Accounts  Officers  shall make  payment  of  the  revised  Dearness  Allowance  when  bills  are presented  without  waiting  for  the  authorization  from  the  Principal Accountant General (A&E), Tamil Nadu, Chennai-18.

This advertisement is issued for Direct Recruitment of Secondary Grade Teachers under Elementary Education Department, BC and MBC Welfare Department and Adi-Dravida Welfare Department. It has been decided to fill the following vacancies of Secondary Grade Teachers from the candidates who have been qualified in the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper I Examination conducted in 2012 and 2013

TNTRB Direct Recruitment of SGTs Backlog, Current Vacancies 2012-2013

A. Department of Elementary Education (Backlog Vacancies)

These vacancies will be filled by the eligible qualified candidate among Hindu Piramalai – Kallar communities on preferential basis. 50% reservation for women candidates, 20% reservation for persons studied in Tamil Medium on preferential basis and 3% reservation for Physically Challenged Persons shall be provided in the above mentioned vacancies. 5% shall also be reserved for Ex Service man subject to availability of such candidates. (Visually Impaired and Hearing Impaired candidates are not eligible for Secondary Grade Teachers selection process.)

2. Scale of pay: PB-2: 5200 – 20800 + Grade Pay 2800.
3. Age limit : Not more than 57 years of age as on 01-07-2014.
4. Educational Qualification :
The candidate should possess the following qualification on the last date of Notification for conducting clarification camp for the direct recruitment of Secondary Grade Teachers i.e on 06.08.2014.

1. Diploma in Teacher Education/ Diploma in Elementary Education under (10+2+2 pattern) in a recognized teacher training institute/DIET and they should have passed the Paper I of Tamilnadu Teacher Eligibility Test. Regarding the candidates who have passed D.T.Ed., course from States other than Tamilnadu their D.T.Ed., will be eligible only if their certificates are evaluated by SCERT Tamilnadu.

2. The candidates who wish to be considered for the Secondary Grade Teacher vacancies in the Minority languages should have opted the concerned minority language as language under Part – I in Paper I of
Tamilnadu Teacher Eligibility Test.

5. How to apply : With the academic year 2014-2015 having commenced already, the Recruitment process has to be finalized at the earliest. In this context, the Teachers Recruitment Board has decided to accept the option of willingness to join Government Service, already submitted by the candidates at
the time of certificate verification of TNTET-2012 & 2013, as application for the post of Secondary Grade Teacher. Therefore, all the candidates who have appeared for certificate verification need not apply again for the above said Secondary Grade Teacher post separately.

6. Board has already issued Notification for clarification camp relating to queries from the TNTET Paper I qualified candidates for the direct recruitment of Secondary Grade Teachers vide Notification No. 5/2014, dated 06.08.2014.

7. After verification by Teachers Recruitment Board, the information /document and declaration submitted by the candidates at the clarification camp were updated in the Certificate Verification database and a final database was arrived. Based on this, the selection to the Notified vacancies will be made Department wise as per the guidelines laid down in the G.O.Ms.No.71, School Education (TRB) Department, dated 30.05.2014 and duly following the Rule of Reservation in vogue.

8. All the selections made as per this Notification will be subject to the outcome of various Writ Petitions / Writ Appeals including W.A. No.707 & 708 of 2014 and M.P.No.1 and 1 of 2014 filed before the Hon’ble High Court of Madras.

Bachelor degree (B.A/B.Sc.,) in the subjects for which the application is made and B.Ed degree under 10+2+3+1 or 10+3+3+1 or 11+1+3+1 pattern and they should have passed the Paper-2 of Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) as mentioned below.

Scale of pay: PB-2: 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay 4600.

Age limit: Not more than 57 years of age as on 01-07-2014.

How to apply: With the academic year 2014-2015 having commenced already, the Recruitment process has to be finalized at the earliest. In this context, the Teachers Recruitment Board has decided to accept the option of willingness to join Government Service, already submitted by the candidates at the time of certificate verification of TNTET-2012 & 2013, as application for the post of B.T Assistant in the subject concerned. Therefore, all the candidates who have appeared for certificate verification need not apply again for the above said B.T. Assistant post separately.

The details of candidates (Name, Post (subject) applied for, Date of Birth, Percentage of Marks secured in HSC, UG degree, B.Ed, TNTET, Weightage Marks awarded as per G.O.Ms.No.71, School Education (TRB) Department, Dated 30.05.2014, Community, Reservation claimed for Tamil Medium studies and Reservation claimed for Differently Abled category)
(i) who have passed TNTET – 2012 but were not selected for any Government post previously
(ii) those who have participated in Certificate Verification process of TNTET-2013 and
(iii) those who have participated in certificate verification process of Special TNTET 2014 is being published in the TRB official website http://www.trb.tn.nic.in. The candidates are advised to verify their details given therein
